Hello Summer!

Exciting times are afoot here at Northern Edge! Summer is here which means event season is upon us. Over the next few months you can find us at various events including the Mouth of the Tweed Food Festival and the Berwick Food and Beer Festival, as well as at serving up a brew at a few weddings, anniversary parties, birthdays and celebrations. We’ve been working hard the past few months to bring you a new blend, this time with a special twist. While all our of our blends are fully traceable and hold to our ethics, for this blend we’ve taken things one step further and have been working directly with Fabrício Andrade, one of the chief farmers at the Fazenda Samambaia coffee farm in Brazil. All of the team have really enjoyed building such a personal relationship with Fabrício and it has given us a unique insight into how this particular variety of coffee cherry is harvested. With tasting notes of hazelnut, brown sugar, apple, biscuit, and chocolate, we’re sure our ‘Fabrício’ coffee will go down a treat. It’s due to launch in the next two weeks and we will keep you updated as we go!​​

Don’t forget, our Northern Edge Coffee bar is open from 11am-5pm every weekend over summer (weather permitting). It provides a perfect pit-stop from waking the historic Berwick-upon-Tweed town walls and serves up Doddington Dairy ice cream and milkshakes, delicious homemade tray-bakes, and of course a cup of your favourite brew.
